Macro photography on the cheap?

I haven't tried this, but apparently flipping your lens around might let you take close-up shots like these.

  1. Yep, That works. You can actually buy something called a reversing ring which will attach to the front of the lens like a filter which will allow you to attach the lens backwards to your camera. They make them for a lot of lenses (but not all) and they're not expensive. This works best with fixed focal length lenses.
